An evening hosted by George Binette with Chris Salewicz author of ‘Redemption Song’ the definitive biography of Joe Strummer which is sometimes referred to as: the ballad of Joe Strummer. Chris will be reading extracts from his stunning book followed by a Q&A about Joe and his band The Clash 'George Binette was key to documenting the extraordinay reunion of Strummer and Mick Jones for what proved the final time at the FBU firefighters' benefit gig at Acton Town Hall 15 November 2002.' Chris Salewicz was the right man for the job when it came to writing Strummer’s biography with a friendship that spanned thirty years Chris was privy to Joe’s and the band’s thoughts on many occasions.
